Book reviews
Obviously as a writer, I love to read. With two kids, college and a house to run I don't always get as much time as I would like! I have so many books downloaded to my kindle, and I aim to get through 2/3 a month.

TAKEN by Debra Lee.
Mary Murray finds herself as a single mother after her boyfriend dumps her for another woman. Mary begins to rebuild her life when one day awakes to find her baby has been taken from her cot in the night. Everybody loves a "who dunnit" and with a range of characters to choose from Mary's life, it will keep you guessing! Really enjoyed this. 5/5 *****
FLUFFY: A JOURNEY THROUGH DEPRESSION by Michael John-Ryler
A book on the effects of depression, this is one man's journey on the road to recovery. It takes a A -Z format, and I enjoyed it so much I read it very quickly. My only criticism is I would've liked it to be a bit longer! 4/5 ****
ONE MOMENT< ONE MORNING by Sarah Rayner
I LOVED this book. The first of Sarah Rayners books that I have read, but certainly won't be the last.
This is the story of three women who were travelling on the same train one morning. A man dies, unexpectedly. Follow their lives after this terrible event. Very moving. I loved the characters and really cared what happened to them.
Highly recommended. 5/5 *****
BEST FRIENDS AND BASTARDS by Jaci Byrne
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was sad to finish it! I really felt as if i got to know Angie, and could really sympathise with her and what she had to put up with from the people in her life! Will definitely be reading more from Jaci Byrne. 5/5 *****
99 REASONS WHY by Caroline Smailes
Wow. Iv'e never read a book like this before. It's brilliant, weird and un- put -down -able!
After reading the story of Katy and her strange job that she has to do for her uncle Phil, you are then asked a series of questions to determine your endings. You then have the option to go back (as I did) and read all the endings because curiosity got the better of me! Fabulous and thought provoking. Definately recommended! 5/5 *****
THRIFT by Phil Church
Thrift is a hilarious and well written book about an English teacher in a failing school who lies and blags his way through some pretty tough situations! I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I laughed all the way through it, and loved the main character's clever yet sometimes sarcastic personality! Looking forward to reading more by phil! Highly recommended 5/5 *****
NOBODY'S FAULT by Terry Tyler
I found Terry on Twitter and wasted no time downloading this to my Kindle. I am so glad I did!
If you like novels that are packed with well thought loveable characters, the ability to make you laugh and cry, great description and plenty of twists, then this is the book for you!
I will definitely be reading more from Terry, I'm a huge fan! 5/5 *****
YOU WISH by Terry Tyler
Another fantastic novel by Terry Tyler. I felt as if I really knew some of the characters, all of which are very believable.
Every time I thought I may have guessed what would happen next, I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong! Terry has this wonderful way of writing twists, along with a talent for writing from lots of characters perspectives.
I wanted to scream at petra, hug Sarah ( as well as cooking her a good square meal!)and kick Jay in the balls!
A very well written story which I was sad to finish! 5/5 *****
DREAM ON by Terry Tyler
Another fantastic novel by Terry! I've not read much fiction written from a man's point of view, so wondered if I would enjoy it as much as Terry's other books- I needn't have worried! I soon fell in love with the characters, who Terry always has a brilliant way of bringing together. As with her other titles, i was sad to finish DREAM ON and eagerly await the sequel! 5/5 *****
