I love the idea that Roald Dahl had this little shed at the bottom of his garden where he would take himself off to write. His own little sanctuary, filled with things that inspire him, writing novel after novel and not sharing his ideas with anyone until he had a completed first draft. I wish I was that disciplined. Maybe I could be, if I cleared out my shed, removed the flymo, bikes and probably the odd mouse. I could paint the inside pink and fill it with lots of girly things. And it would be mine. No noisy kids or xbox playing boyfriends allowed! And I would get an amazing amount of writing done! Hmmm, yeah Roald is definitely an inspiration.
