I've been reading Roald Dahl books this week for some inspiration. I have not been disappointed! They are every bit as exciting as I remember!
My all time favourites are Charlie and the chocolate factory ( I think I've seen the film 100 times) and The BFG. The imagination behind these stories is one of a genius and if I could write something even as half as good as any of his books, I would be a very happy woman!
Now tell me, which book/s of Roald's were your favourites as a child and why? Have you read any of them as an adult and was there any difference in how you felt about the story?
